Electronic Arts has posted a notice on Jane's Combat.Net, an online service for the Jane's Combat Simulations series, that it will shut down the service on April 30. Shrapnel Games announced today that the air traffic control simulation, Air Command 3, will begin shipping April 11th. This is one day early from their revised ship date. Air Command 3.0 is a simulation of air traffic control. With the assistance of an actual Air Traffic Controller, Developer Joe Jaworski has balanced game play and realism to give the gamer a feel of what it is like to direct air traffic at a major international airport. Multiple difficulty levels, pilot digitized voices, pilot errors and miscommunications, and an airport editor provide for many hours of nail biting game play. Air Command 3.0 retails for $34.95 and can be purchased directly from Shrapnel Games via their website. A demo is also available from the Shrapnel Games website.
