Thief 1 "The Golden Age" and "Thief 2- The Metal Age" were both excellent games visually and the gameplay was intense too. Not like any FPS game of course, but that's what I liked about it. This games make the player rely on stealth and almost completely takes fighting out of the game. You have to be cunning and patient, as some of the levels can be pretty tricky. The graphics so far and the cut-sceens have been hard to beat by any game on the market. If you ready for a change this game would be the mother of all game changes. I give the previous 2 versions a five star rating. If Thief 3 is anywhere near as good as the first two I'll be at BestBuy as soon as as hits their shelf! IF ANYONE KNOWS MORE INFORMATION ABOUT THIEF 3, PLEASE LET ME KNOW A.S.A.P. Thanks!

Ummm... Looking Glass went out of business (the makers of the Thief series). Now if another company has bought the rights to Thief, that is a different story.

I just hope they improve the graphics from the first two. They were good at the time, but look a little dated now. I also hope that the environment will be changed a little. I started getting a little nauseated from the Theif1-2 environments. I have to admit however that they are great games and fun to play, but if the third on is just like the first two I don't know if I'll buy it. It will have to be something very different. Personally I think it would be really cool to have the theif environment be either modern day or future with all kinds of high tech gadgetry.
