Serious Sam, Serious doubts
By lobsta21 March 23, 2001, 01:13 PM

After Reading The sharkey Review I wonder Why SSam is only in Egypt. Was it rushed? I expected different worlds and the Screenshots showed that. Where is the rest of the Game? Maybe it's in installments like a Buck Rogers' Serial at the Movies.

It was made in Croatia. So maybe they didn't have too much time to program while they were dodging bullets from cival wars and stuff.
It's 20 bucks. It's a deal. I played the demo and it's worth it.

Get the game it's awesome. Much better than the demo. The editor and modeller are worth the $20.

I'm gonna buy it but wondered what happened to the rest of the game. I have e-mailed Cro team in the past and found them responsive and very alive.

Hey good catch there

I gotta give it a thumbs up. For $20 dollars it was quite a bargain. No flames intended, but I liked it better than No One Lives Forever. It's a nice shooter to play until Doom3 or Duke Forever come out

I just talked to my older sister about it who works for Gathering of Developers. She said that Serious Sam was released now so that they would be able to push licensing of the SERIOUS engine. ^^ I hope its successful... I'd like them to dump some more cash into it and use it to improve the visual detail quality of the engine. @o@ Its got advantages over the other engines in brightness and vast hordes of enemies, but even though some people claim its on the same visual beauty level of the halflife and q3 engines... ^^; I can't agree with them.

The game is unbelievable and completely insane at times. I'm glad they released it early. The engine is awsome and deserves recognition. Hopefully others will use it soon.
