We already told you that Turok 2: Seeds of Evil and South park are not the only two- with Machines which is being kept under wraps. Well there is another title that our recent visit to Acclaim revealed- Re-Volt. Acclaim has always been one for expensive licensing and Re-Volt actually uses the Toy-Volt license for their R/C racing game.

You'll be able to control up to 28 different cars (each with their own strengths and weaknesses) across 14 tracks. The tracks are also played over seven different environments, which are all depicted via the use of a 3D accelerator (but of course). As well as mere racing and attempting to finish as high up the ladder as possible, Re-Volt will also contain elements of combat racing. It won't exactly be along the lines (lanes?) of Carmageddon where you run over sheep and people but you'll still be able to fire off a few missiles (there will also be power-ups along the way). This will possibly be most fun during the multiplayer modes, which will be included for up to 12 players across a LAN.

Re-Volt is due for release in Q2 and will not only come out on the PC but also the PSX and the N64. No Dreamcast version has been mentioned as yet.
