SharkyExtreme: What elements from the popular Warhammer universe will we see in GorkaMorka?

Andy Kieran: Orks! Almost all of the elements that made the Games Workshop game so exciting we have tried to incorporate into the game. In addition we have worked hard to make the racing experience one that will draw in players who have never played GorkaMorka before and aren't familiar with the setting.

SharkyExtreme: How customizable are the vehicles in the game? How many vehicles can you choose from and what are they like?

Andy Kieran: Currently there are 5 vehicles to choose from ranging from the quick but lightly armored Trike to the heavily armed and armored Battle Wagon.

SharkyExtreme: As you play through the game, can you upgrade to bigger and better vehicles and weapons?

Andy Kieran: Yes.

SharkyExtreme: In the game how does one manage the task of driving and shooting? Do you have to choose between the two or can you do both while behind the wheel?

Andy Kieran: One of the most exciting features of this game is our ability to switch on the fly between driver and gunner. There will be times during each race where it will be beneficial to be the driver (such as avoiding traps or heavy enemy fire) and there will be times when the gunner is critical (such as activating traps or shooting out the opponents tires instead of wearing down their armor). The game AI will automatically take over whichever function (either driver or gunner) the player switches out of immediately so that if the player goes from driver to gunner the game AI will automatically take over the driving of the vehicle.

SharkyExtreme: Is the game a straight combat title, or do you have to do things like solve puzzles and get keys along the way?

Andy Kieran: We have two types of racing. The first is the "race" where winning and rewards are tied to the player "coming in first". The second mode is the "Pit Fight" arena combat mode, which is demolition derby style combat. In Pit Fight mode the winner is the only vehicle not destroyed at the end of the fight.
