They Break the News, I Break it Again!

August is heading out and it's taking summer with it… but that's good news if you're waiting for new games. It means Fall is around the corner! Got some Diablo III morsels here (sort of) and a bit of Lara Croft cheesecake too. Hurry on in, Madden's already here and he's hogging all the pork rinds.

Diablo II is still top of the charts worldwide and it's selling like mad. Moles at Blizzard suggest that Diablo III is already under development. The scoop is that the game is going to be turn-based and will play a lot more like Heroes of Might & Magic than the game the series is actually based on, Westwood's Nox.

The big news is that the bad guy this time out won't be Diablo! It also won't be his funky brothers Mephistopheles and Baal. Instead it will be Wisconsin resident and universally-hated human being, Susan Hawk. A woman best known for her starring role as villain on Survivor and exactly the sort of person you don't want around if you happen to be hanging in the desert, a bit thirsty and in the presence of vultures.
