As reported last week the Soviets have taken advantage of the Election Crisis by invading the United States with their armada of dogs, squids and other quirky weaponry. Last week they took the Pentagon building and this week they staked their claim on Texas. George W. Bush was safely at his real home at Kennebunkport Maine.

Nobody had the courage to ask president Nukem what he plans to do regarding this war. Finally Nukem released the following statement: “The Soviets are going down. We've got Kari Wuher on the case and we've finally located Patrick Swayze”, inexplicably he ended this release with the words “Who's the man?” written five hundred times.
A German developer called Davilax is working on a game called Invasion Deutshland. The game hypothizes what would happen if Germany had a major election crisis and, naturally, aliens invade. German legislators cried foul over the game showing the aliens attacking and destroying the Reichstag and other national treasures.
“This is tasteless. We would never allow it", said a German legislator and also pointed out that Davilux filmed the building without state permission. A Davilax spokesperson quickly pointed out that, in his mind, the game is patriotic, arguing “You defend the fatherland against the monsters". The legislators vow to burn all copies of the game (they're good at that) if it's released.
