Picture this. One gorgeous heroine, many gorgeous levels, big guns, bigger swords, even bigger monsters and lots and lots of action. Have I got your attention yet? If not, seek help or read on for a little more convincing, because Heavy Metal: FAKK 2 is one game that contains all of the above, and a good thing it is, too.
It's been 30 years since Julie thoroughly skewered wannabe God Lord Tyler. She has since settled on the planet Eden with a group of others with no place to call home, protected by a planetary force field and given eternal life by the waters of Eden. But now, the corporate galactic warlord known as Gith approaches, ready to shatter the peaceful existence on Eden to further his own twisted desires. Of course, Julie ain't having any of that.
Only kidding. However, were this review to end here, after not even 200 words, you'd feel a little short changed. Similarly, the main failing of FAKK 2 is its length. It's a little bit short with only three distinct areas to complete where at least four might have made for a longer and more satisfying game. However, aside from that, there is a lot that FAKK 2 does right.
